William (St Clair) St Clair IXth of Roslin is a member of Clan Sinclair.
A Sasine (following a Precept dated at Edinburgh 28th March 1550) was given by Oliver Sinclair of Pitcairns with the consent of his wife Katherine Bellenden, for infefting Oliver Sinclair, son of William Sinclair of Roslin, the granter's brother-german, in the lands of Killeith, or Kildeleith, in the barony of Kirkliston, regality of St.Andrews, and sheriffdom of Linlithgow. Sasine was given on 31st March 1550 by John Finlason and James Sinclair, baillies for Oliver & Katherine. Witnesses included Alexander Sinclair, brother-german of 'said Oliver' [the granter].[1]
